Ackel 1999 Louisiana State Champion Auctioneer David Ackel entered the world of auctioning, as a second generation auctioneer, at the age of 15 when his father, Mike Ackel, opened the first auction company in Monroe, LA. David served in the auction company as a ringman and as a back- up auctioneer. Following in his fathers footsteps, David went on to become the 1999 Louisiana State Champion Auctioneer. In 2004, David and his family moved to Austin, TX and has built an extensive auction following there. David has found that his passion lies in building relationships with the clients he is serving. He enjoys being a part of the planning process early on to ensure that his goals and vision are aligned with his clients to insure his Auction team provides the highest level of consultation and creative partnership possible.
