Bryan has been in the auction industry for 14 years and his specialty ranges from real estate to asset dispersals. Along with his responsibilities at Horton, Bryan is very active in the industry as a whole. In 2001, he was crowned Alabama State Grand Champion Auctioneer and in 2007 he won the International Auctioneer Championship. After winning the IAC, he has been written about in numerous publications and news outlets across the country and has done commercial voice-over work for Comedy Central. Bryan also teaches at Nashville Auction School, the auction school that helped launch his career. In 2010, Bryan received his CAI designation and in 2011 he completed classes to receive his GPPA designation as well. In 2009, Governor Bob Riley appointed Bryan to the Alabama State Board of Auctioneers. He also was recently elected as President of the Alabama Auctioneers Association and is also a Director on the Board of Directors of the National Auctioneers Association. Along with being a Rotarian, Bryan’s civic involvement includes sitting on the Board of Directors of Alabama Teen Challenge, a Christian–based addiction recovery program. He and his wife Lynda are members at Gardendale’s First Baptist Church where he teaches the “Whosoever Will” bible study and sings in the choir.
