Our founder
Founder of CharityFundraiser.com — auctioneer, emcee, and nonprofit consultant who spent three decades at the front of the room before deciding to build a better way.

For three decades, I’ve donated my time to nonprofit organizations as an auctioneer, emcee, and consultant — helping them raise the funds that power their missions. Over the years I’ve had the privilege of working with incredible causes, including Big Brothers Big Sisters, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Arlington and Fort Worth, The Art Station in Fort Worth (23 years and counting), the Junior League of Arlington, the Dravet Syndrome Foundation, and the Miracle League of Arlington, Texas — to name just a few.
I’ve also been honored to support countless school fundraisers, from Duff Elementary to St. Maria Goretti Catholic School in Arlington, Texas, and many more.
To this day, I continue to volunteer my time as an auctioneer for Ducks Unlimited across Texas — staying close to the room, the cause, and the moments that make live fundraising work.
Standing at the front of all those rooms, I watched the same frustrations play out again and again — long check-in lines, slow check-outs, and disputes over auction items and bid amounts, just to name a few headaches. After 30 years of seeing dedicated volunteers wrestle with clunky, disconnected tools, I decided to build a better mousetrap.
I truly believe we’ve captured every pain point a nonprofit endures on event night — and built a real solution for each one. My hope is that when you see everything our platform offers, you’ll agree we’ve resolved nearly every issue. And where we haven’t, we want your feedback, because we’re committed to making it better every single day.
We only succeed if your nonprofit event succeeds.
I’m confident this is the best fundraising platform available today — and the lowest cost, because it’s FREE. We built it to open people’s eyes to what they never thought was possible, and we back it with the best technical support we can offer, available 24/7.
Thank you for visiting. I can’t wait for you to experience it.

Background & education
Larry’s path to building CharityFundraiser started long before his first auction. Straight out of high school he attended the United States Air Force Academy, and his service later stationed him at Carswell Air Force Base in Texas — where he put down roots that have kept him in the area ever since 1983. In 1987, he left the Air Force as a Captain, ready to pursue his entrepreneurial dreams.
He holds a B.S. in Engineering from the University of Connecticut (UConn) and an MBA from Tarleton State University. In 1996 he founded his own web development company, Web-Tech Services, which he still runs today.
The idea for a better nonprofit fundraising platform lived in his head for years. What finally made it possible was AI — the technology that let a one-person vision become a full, production-grade platform. That platform is CharityFundraiser.com.
