By creating an account or using CharityFundraiser ("the Service") you agree to these terms.
The Service
CharityFundraiser provides multi-tenant fundraising software to non-profit organizations: online auctions, donations, peer-to-peer campaigns, ticketing, event management, CRM, and reporting.
Eligibility
- Organizations must be lawfully registered non-profits in their jurisdiction (501(c)(3) or equivalent).
- Individual users must be at least 18 years old.
Fees
The Service is free to use. We charge a small platform fee on successful transactions, disclosed at signup. Payment-processor fees (Stripe, etc.) are passed through at cost. We never charge setup fees, monthly subscriptions, or per-seat licenses.
Your responsibilities
- Maintain accurate organization information including EIN/tax status.
- Comply with all applicable fundraising laws, sweepstakes regulations, tax rules, and donor-disclosure requirements in your jurisdiction.
- Do not use the platform for illegal, deceptive, or non-charitable purposes.
Auctions & bidding
Winning bids constitute a binding commitment to purchase. The Service automatically attempts to capture payment from winners on auction close. Failed payments may result in the item being reassigned to the next-highest bidder.
Refunds
Donations are generally non-refundable. Refunds are at the discretion of the non-profit organization receiving the gift. Contact them directly for refund requests.
Termination
Either party may terminate at any time. On termination, we will provide a final data export and disburse outstanding funds owed to the non-profit, minus fees.
Limitation of liability
The Service is provided "as is." We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Total liability is capped at the fees paid to us in the prior twelve months.
